Southern State to offer FAFSA Walk-in Clinics during February- February is Financial Aid Awareness Month. To celebrate, Southern State will host FAFSA walk-in clinics on Wednesday afternoons throughout the month aimed at helping current and prospective students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the upcoming academic year.

Fall Semester scholarship application opens February 1 at Southern State- Students enrolled, or planning to enroll, at ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ for the Fall Semester, which begins in August, can benefit from various financial resources to help offset the cost of a college education.
Southern State Announces Human and Social Services Faculty Member- ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ is pleased to announce Patricia Beach, of Wilmington, as the new full-time faculty member for the Department of Human and Social Services (HSSR). Beginning Spring Semester, which started January 13, Beach transitioned from a part-time faculty member to full-time status.
Southern State Announces Honors Lists for Fall Semester- ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ has released its President's List and Dean's List for academic excellence for Fall Semester 2024.

³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ Board of Trustees to meet January 16- The ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16 on ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ's Central Campus, Room 347, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro for their regular Board meeting. The board will enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing the purchase or sale of property.
